Thank You!

Writing Another Level has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. This book was written from the heart, not only as a way to leave important life lessons and strategies for my children, grandchildren, and future generations, but also as a personal journey of reflection and gratitude.

When I finally completed the manuscript and sent it off to Amazon, I felt a tremendous sense of accomplishment and relief. It was a dream fulfilled and a major item checked off my bucket list.

There are so many people who deserve my thanks.

First and foremost, thank you to my ultimate Father, God. My Mom and Dad. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction and providing the foundation that shaped the person I am today.

To my lovely wife, Carol, thank you for making this life such an amazing journey. Your love, support, patience, and encouragement have meant more than words can express.

To my children and grandchildren, thank you simply for making life worth it. You are my greatest source of pride, joy, and inspiration.

To my golfing buddies, thank you for over 40 years of friendship, laughter, competition, and more than a few unforgettable stories. The memories we have created together are priceless. Was that a tourniquet? I swear I didn’t know it was a bait and tackle shop.

To my tennis partners, thank you for helping me appreciate a game that has brought so much enjoyment into my life. My father once told me that tennis was a sport you could play for a lifetime and that you would meet some special people along the way. He was absolutely right.

To my customers, both past and present, thank you for your loyalty, trust, friendship, and support throughout the years. You have made my professional life meaningful and rewarding beyond measure.

To the mentors, leaders, and individuals who guided me throughout my career—Mom and Dad, Pete and Larry, John Polvino, Kim W., Dr. Todd Shatkin, and Dr. Sam Shatkin—thank you for the opportunities, challenges, and lessons. Every experience, both good and bad, helped shape my character and contributed to my personal and professional growth. The highs were wonderful, and the lows often provided the most valuable lessons.

Life is a collection of experiences. Every success, setback, victory, and challenge teaches us something if we are willing to learn.

My hope is that the lessons shared throughout this book will encourage you to reach your own “Another Level”. In particular, I encourage you to revisit the 10 Lessons at the end of Chapter 12. They represent many of the principles that have guided my life and helped me navigate both opportunities and obstacles.

Finally, thank you for taking the time to read this book. If something in these pages resonates with you, inspires you, or helps you along your own journey, then this project has accomplished exactly what I hoped it would.

To my team, this would not have happened without your help. The printed word is so important when it makes sense. You helped me look and sound good. To Erica C., Emily, Erica, Diane, Dave, Tim and Meredith. Thank you for helping make a dream come true!

If you have questions, comments, or simply want to talk, I would love the opportunity to connect with you.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
